Refund Policy

At ReadySet Assemblers, we aim to provide professional and reliable furniture assembly services. We understand that sometimes plans change or issues may arise. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which clients may be eligible for a refund, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

 

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if the service you receive is:

  • Not delivered with acceptable care and skill

  • Not fit for the purpose you asked for

  • Not delivered within a reasonable time (when no time is set)

This policy does not limit your rights under the ACL.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

 

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if:

  • The service was not delivered as agreed, and ReadySet Assemblers is at fault

  • You cancel a booking with at least 24 hours’ notice

  • There is a genuine issue with the workmanship that cannot be resolved through rework

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind after service has been completed

  • Issues arising from missing or defective parts provided by the manufacturer

  • Delays caused by incorrect instructions, inaccessible work areas, or lack of required tools or materials (if those were the client’s responsibility)

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment (unless under exceptional circumstances)

3. Booking Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before your scheduled appointment are eligible for a full refund (if any payment was made in advance).

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the quoted price, to cover allocated resources and lost time.

4. Service Issues & Complaints

 

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us within 14 days of the service date. We will first attempt to resolve the issue by:

  • Reviewing the service performed

  • Offering to return and correct any faults (free of charge)

  • Providing a partial or full refund if appropriate

Please note: We may require photos or written explanation to process your request.

5. How to Request a Refund

We aim to process all refund or complaint requests within 5 business days.

6. Final Notes

 

Refunds (when approved) will be made using the original method of payment. ReadySet Assemblers reserves the right to refuse refund requests that do not meet the conditions outlined above.

If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) for further advice.
